The torqueness of a turntable motor has direct relationship with how the vinyl information is being picked up by the cartridge.
In exhibit 1, you will notice that the record groove shape is not triangular -like what we know from the standard textbooks- but rather rectangular.
By decreasing the torque of the turntable motor, the cartridge tractability will be improved. Therefor changing torque is essential for best reproduction when audiophiles play either classical vinyl or present day vinyl.
With the first torque adjustable turntable TT-5, audiophiles can have 3 torque adjustment levels, to ensure a maximum pick up of information by your cartridge. This to great benefit of today’s pinnacle of the ever evolving vinyl.
